On October 16, 2018, SAMU was selected as a leading company in the 4th Industrial Revolution at the '42nd National Productivity Award' held at COEX in Samseong-dong, receiving the Chairman's Commendation from the Korea Productivity Center.
The National Productivity Award is a government award program presented to companies that contribute to national economic development by achieving outstanding business performance through exemplary productivity enhancement activities.
Our company was highly recognized for its efforts in technological innovation and productivity improvement as a leading company in the 4th Industrial Revolution, successfully introducing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) through the 2015 Shop Floor Digitalization Project and the 2017 ICT Convergence Smart Factory Project to build an exemplary production management system.
Currently, driven by the innovative MES development and implementation, we are achieving progressive results such as job creation, defect rate reduction, and steady growth in sales and exports.
